Identified - Due to the changes caused by the Okta Go-live transition, upon logging into your Okta Dashboard or using the Okta service for the first time you will be signed out of any actively signed-in Office 365 applications. This may include Office 365 Suite, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, and others on both your desktop and mobile devices.

Once logged out, you will be able to sign back in using your JMU email address and current eID password (as your password has not changed) without issue. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Identified - Due to the changes caused by the Okta Go-live transition, a "Bad Request" error may occur when accessing certain Libraries e-Resources. We expect this issue to be resolved at some point on Monday, March 17th. To ensure access, users can use the JMU Virtual Private Network (VPN), GlobalProtect from both on and off-campus.

Scheduled - JMU IT is transitioning our Identity and Access Management platform to Okta. As a result, all JMU systems may experience intermittent downtime or unavailability.

Starting Friday, March 14th at 5pm, password changes will not be available until Okta is live. On Saturday, March 15th All JMU systems will be unavailable from 1pm until 5pm.

While many JMU systems may be available by Sunday, March 15th, we ask that you limit your use due to technical testing and the lack of Help Desk support.
