Network Services is required to complete an upgrade of the campus network switches which will affect all wired and wireless network connectivity across campus at various times during the upgrade window. We will be performing the upgrades on Sunday, June 15th between 6am and 12pm. During this window, network connectivity will be intermittently disrupted.
Please note, this will not affect the data center network, the public facing wireless network at AUBC, or the Boldyn wired and wireless networks throughout the dorms. Posted on

We will be performing maintenance on the JMU wireless networks across campus. This will be a rolling upgrade, so not all wireless connectivity will be affected at the same time. Depending on the area/building, some users may not notice any disruption. We expect the upgrades to take approximately 4 hours to complete. During this time, wired network connections will still be functional. This maintenance will affect wireless services provided throughout campus (excluding the public facing wireless at AUBC and the Boldyn wireless network in student housing).
